I met Leyla when she was employed with Kids & Co. in North Vancouver, where my daughter, Georgia, attends daycare. I started Georgia at Kids & Co. when she was 11 months old, and Leyla was integral in successfully transitioning her into full time care. 

Leyla was always a pleasure to greet first thing in the morning, and very quickly became Georgia's favourite daycare teacher. She is kind, attentive and very nurturing. I felt comfortable having Leyla involved in my daughter's care because I trusted that she provided her with the kind of loving care she receives at home. 

At pick up, Leyla always communicated how Georgia's day was and made sure

that I was informed of all her daily accomplishments and/or challenges. It was very apparent that Leyla genuinely enjoyed working with children. 

I am writing this letter in regard to Leyla, whom I believe would be an excellent candidate for a position in child care.

I first met Leyla when she was the teacher in our child's infant/toddler classroom. All of the children in the class, as well as other teachers and parents, found her to be effective, caring, and a joy to be around.

Leyla always demonstrated a calm, compassionate, and cheerful way of working with and talking to the children in their daily activities. Her knowledge of each child's routines, their likes and dislikes, and how to best manage their expectations while providing the education and nurturing needed was a demonstration of her ability to balance care and creativity.

She was also instrumental in helping our child transition from the infant/toddler room to preschool. She made sure our child understood what was going on, how exciting growing up can be, and made sure she felt secure in her new--and much bigger--surroundings. In fact, our child often asked if "Miss Leyla" was going to be at school, saying she loved all the fun they had. As a parent, that kind of interaction and trust is rare, but invaluable.

I would not hesitate to recommend Leyla as I believe she would be a welcome, dedicated, and energizing addition to any child care team.

I am pleased to recommend Leila & her team to all parents in need. I have known Leila for more than seven years. I was introduced to her while she was working at Kids and Company. She was then my daughter ‘s teacher in toddler class.

During that time at Kids and company, I have found Leila to be sincere, hard-working, enthusiastic and very compassionate. She has also demonstrated an ability to handle difficult  situations easily.  She was always cheerful. Both my kids loves her. My kids were always happier to see her in the morning drop offs. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her.

Leyla has become an important part of Ben's early years.

She has been caring for Ben at his daycare since he was 6 months old, and her name was one of his first words!

Leyla is communicative and caring. She is always excited to see Ben and talks to him attentively on his level.

She sings to him, teaches him new skills and is so encouraging as he grows and develops. 

Whenever we pick up Ben from daycare, she has something to tell us about his day and his progress.

Quarantine has been difficult for Ben, and for us, without the positive influence of Leyla. Ben clearly misses her, and we cannot wait until July, when he will back under her loving and positive care.
